The Challenge
Our client faced one of the most complex technological and customer experience challenges in Chilean banking history: integrating the IT infrastructure of a recently acquired bank and migrating millions of customer accounts—all without service interruption or customer loss. The scale, pressure, and visibility of the project were unprecedented.
The Solution
To meet the challenge, we built a world-class business banking portal, designed around a seamless and secure Customer-First Experience. Based on a thorough discovery process, we mapped out the full Customer Journey, ensuring that every interaction across the platform reflected simplicity, security, and performance.
The technical foundation included a hybrid architecture that merged the flexibility of cloud services with the stability of on-premise infrastructure. In addition, we introduced new development languages and redefined the bank’s architectural standards to support long-term scalability.
We integrated new digital services into the online platform, including self-service product flows, secure onboarding, and real-time account management. A “big bang” migration strategy was executed, successfully transitioning all customer accounts to the new platform simultaneously—with zero service disruption.
Finally, we developed a global component library, enabling teams across the bank’s international operations to reuse modules and accelerate future digital initiatives.
Our Deployment
The project began with two agile squads focused on laying the technical foundation and integration planning. As the project progressed, the scope and delivery capacity scaled up to eight full agile squads—enabling fast-paced development while maintaining quality and control.
