Imagemaker conducted its most ambitious assessment with one of our most significant banking clients in Central America on August 23. This thorough analysis, carried out in 4-hour daily sessions with the client’s Technology Management team, has been a significant milestone in the collaboration between both parties.
Led by Mauricio Morales, Agile Coach Transversal, Jorge Silva, Regional Technical Manager, and Jorge Garrido, Regional Delivery Manager, these sessions aimed to gather crucial information for crafting effective proposals and have enabled our client to gain a comprehensive understanding of their situation, addressing both global and individual challenges.
On this occasion, 18 cells were evaluated within a context that includes methodological, business, and technical risks. Each cell is involved in various initiatives for the client’s Development Factory. This comprehensive transformational process aims to enhance the efficiency of these 18 teams. Initially, an investigative process was conducted to understand the context, which allowed us to develop a value proposition and a support plan.
Objectives and Methodology
During the assessment, three key areas requested by the client were addressed:
- Increasing Productivity in the Factory: Optimizing operational efficiency.
- Reducing Administrative Burden: Simplifying administrative management and easing coordination with over 16 external suppliers for personnel outsourcing.
- Generating Value at Scale: Maximizing value through a more efficient operational scale.
The process included a variety of methodologies, including:
- Discovery and Inception: To thoroughly understand the current state and future objectives.
- Liberating Structures: To foster collaboration and idea generation.
- Maturity Assessment: Evaluations of methodology, business, and technical aspects.
- Imagemaker Maturity Model: Used to assess progress and capabilities.
