When banking portability becomes synonymous with excellence, not competition

During September, the new Bank Portability Law came into effect in Chile, which allows clients to change banks and negotiate new financing conditions simply and with defined terms.

Faced with this, one of the topics most discussed in the industry is that of increased competition and they compare this process to that experienced by the telecommunications sector in which new players entered and allowed a drop in prices, benefiting the customer.

Undoubtedly, this step marks a before and after in how financial institutions should approach their clients, rethinking how to take the lead in this increasingly competitive scenario, where the user has the upper hand … but what role do they play? the service providers of banks in all that new way of operating?

Union makes us competent

At Imagemaker we have forged much of our experience of more than 20 years together with the leading companies in the financial industry, so we are not immune to this situation, quite the opposite. Although we are not the protagonists of the story, we become that secondary character that pushes the plot and turns it into a bestseller.

This process has a major challenge for the sector since the standards of the bank are raised and thus also of the services provided by the providers of these institutions. But one of the best parts of it is that it somehow “resets” the system and gives the opportunity to be the new benchmark in the industry. Although there are multiple edges that influence this, we believe that the key to differentiation lies in having a quality approach. That is the point that concerns us, service providers.

It is key to understand that to face the challenges that this change imposes on us, as suppliers, rather than a competition of which service is the best, we must be a strategic partner for our clients and work together to finally be the true benchmarks they have as their flag. Excellence.

One and Only team:

The customer’s goals are the supplier’s goals. To make them your own, collaborative work is necessary for which they must be recognized, studied, and adjusted the goals to be achieved. Once defined, the body and soul will work to achieve and overcome them.

Be careful, overcome them. We no longer fall into compliance with facilities, if not, we co-create business vision. Therefore, you are no longer empathic with the client or flexible because we do not speak of another as external, but rather as the same team seeking the same dreams.

Most Valuable Team

The best way to do it, creating a team made up of leaders in the field. The largest investment should not be made in the licenses of the tools that will be occupied, if not, in training a team of people so that they can advise, implement and adjust them to the client’s needs.

At Imagemaker, we have the vision of training the makers and the circle of the client with whom we work, since to reach the maximum potential it is essential that the unified team, the most talented on the planet, has the desired level of capabilities.

Goals first, technology later

The last but most important thing is that the technologies adapt to the business and not vice versa. It is not about implementing technological tools because the competition uses them or just because. Be at the forefront according to the needs of the business.

In other words, once our objectives have been identified, we will select the best tools to achieve them.

Let’s rock the technology

Only when the first three pillars are affirmed, can we focus on the implementation of technological solutions to execute the previously created business vision in a unique and incredible way.

Thus, the unified and trained team will be able to adapt the most avant-garde technologies based on the established objectives, whether they are digitizing your business to the maximum, evolving to face changes, maximizing the power of data, maximizing the operation, or solving the problems of the day a day.
